StoryTime

👶 Who: Ages 2–5 (everyone welcome)
Looking for free library events for toddlers or preschoolers? StoryTime is the perfect way to introduce little ones to the joy of books. These fun, interactive sessions include stories, songs, and rhymes to spark imagination and develop language skills in a relaxed, friendly setting. A great way to enjoy quiet fun together and build early literacy skills.

Byte Buddies
🕒 When: First & third Tuesday of every month (term time), 3:30pm – 4:30pm
📍 Where: Mataura Library
👦 Who: Ages 9–13
Interested in coding? Byte Buddies is a beginner-friendly coding club where kids can explore programming basics, build skills, and work on fun digital projects with others. A great way for tech-curious kids to learn new skills in a supportive environment.

CraftTime
🕒 When: Second Wednesday of every month (term time), 3:30pm – 4:30pm

👦 Who: Ages 5–12 (everyone welcome)
Let your child get creative with CraftTime. Each session features a fun, take-home craft project like painting, collage, or paper creations designed to inspire young imaginations. It's a relaxed way for kids to try new craft skills and enjoy hands-on fun.

BrickTime

Got a Lego lover at home? Bring them along to BrickTime for a creative building session full of brick challenges designed to get young minds thinking and designing. A hands-on activity perfect for kids who enjoy building, imagining, and creating something new.

The Thursday Club
🕒 When: Every Thursday (term time), 3:45pm – 4:45pm
📍 Where: Mataura Library
👦 Who: Ages 5–12 (everyone welcome)
Looking for after-school activities in Mataura? Thursday Club offers something new weekly, from crafts and board games to Lego challenges and book mysteries. It's a fun way for kids to hang out, create, solve puzzles, and play together after school.
